​On Thursday, February 20, at noon, in Gittis 213, please join the Penn Law Federalist Society in welcoming Judge Chad Readler of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. A graduate of Michigan Law, Judge Readler began his legal career as a law clerk for Judge Alan Norris on the Sixth Circuit. After practicing at Jones Day in Ohio, he served as the principal deputy and acting assistant attorney general for the Civil Division at the United States Department of Justice. He was nominated to the court by President Trump in 2018. Judge Readler will be discussing his transition from the executive to the judicial branch. Mexican food, with a Kosher/vegetarian option, will be served.
