Ilan Wurman, an associate professor at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, will discuss his upcoming book "The Second Founding: An Introduction to the 14th Amendment." His talk will cover the original meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment's famous provisions 'due process of law,' and 'equal protection of the laws,' specifically focusing on the 'privileges' or 'immunities' of citizenship. Dean Ruger will provide comments in response. DoorDash vouchers will be sent to the first 30 registrants provided they attend the event.
