Please join the Penn Law Federalist Society on Wednesday, February 6, at noon, for a panel discussion on the future of legal, medical marijuana in America. Mr. Paul Larkin, a Senior Legal Research Fellow at the Heritage Foundation, will discuss deregulation efforts—at both the federal and state level—and the likelihood of their success in achieving legalization. Joining Mr. Larkin will be Professor David Rudovsky, a Senior Fellow at Penn Law. Professor Rudovsky will examine the effects of deregulation on criminal sentencing and the criminal justice system more broadly. The event will take place in Gittis 213, and Wishbone will be served. A Kosher/vegetarian option will also be available.
